OH MY GOD, IT'S BACK!

Anyways.

Life as of late hasn't been terribly exciting. I'm mostly recovered from my cold. Just the occasional cough and a lot of sniffling (stuffy nose is still here). Nothing else interesting there.

Been spending lots of time on Xbox Live lately. I've met some decent people playing some public games of Horde on Gears. Good guys, fun to play with. Definitely better than twelve-year-olds (referred to from here on in as "12s" ).

Speaking of the 12s, I ended up with a group of them the other day who nearly went into shock when I spoke, because they realized I was a girl. I also found a 21-year-old who refused to acknowledge my femaleness, going as far as to state that "girls don't play Gears of War 2". Of course, he was one of those pissy guys who whined at me for getting more kills than him.

Oh, about those 12s, though. Lemme CP the story from my FB:

So I ended up with this group of southern 12s for Horde yesterday, while waiting for my Gears buddies to get back online. I had my headset on mute, because I didn't see the point in talking to them. They were babbling on about whatever, and I...I was getting all the kills. They were doing absolutely fucking nothing.

So around wave 3, one of them goes "Where are they all spawning?"

I unmute my headset and say "they're all down here, in the middle of the map." We were playing on Blood Drive (HATE BLOOD DRIVE).

Now, up until then, they'd all been chattering away, talking over each other, and rapping (BADLY). As soon as I speak, everyone just shuts up. It's completely silent. I'm thinking "the Hell did I do?"

Finally, one of them says "wait...you're a girl?"

I quit after another three waves of obnoxiousness.

Anyways, if anyone interested in playing Gears 2 or Left 4 Dead with me sometime, drop your GamerTag in my journal (if I don't already have you). I'll friend you sometime. Trust me, you'll know it's me. Even if my GamerTag isn't the same as my usernames everywhere else. You'll know.

Oh, but I guess you might bee wondering about the title. This is because, aside from breaking the 12s' worlds with my femaleness, I've also been hit on by a few of them. It's gone from the point of being funny (the first time), to being downright pathetic. Facts is, they'll try to hit on anything with boobs, and I almost pity them because they think they stand a chance.

Please. Really? You still sound like a six-year-old girl, gtfo my Live.

But yeah. I'm available for some gaming most of the time. Don't like playing alone, it gets boring, y'know?
